RIP Ruby

On Monday the 6th at 1PM my friend Gary awoke in the duplex he and his boyfriend had been renting to an odd smell. He opened a door and was shocked to find flames. Only the dog Mitch was close by so Gary grabbed him and ran out the door but left it open in hopes the three cats still inside would run out.

Two of the three did. Sadly, Ruby stayed inside and passed away.

To everyone that reads this and has a pet, make sure you value the time that you spend with them. When they're around for awhile it's easy to take them for granted, but once they're gone you'll never be able to get that time back that you could've taken a moment to pet their head, give them a scratch behind the ear, or just say in a kind voice that you love them.
