RIP Scuzzyby ~MadForHatters

Early yesterday morning Scuzzy lost his fight with a UTI suddenly and died in my arms. He had been doing so well with treatment but then suddenly fell and was unable to get up. When I picked him up he was limp and just dead weight. He soon passed on.

I only had Scuzzy for a year and seven months, but he did live a long life, although only a pampered one once I finally became his owner. I hope that I was able to make up for the neglect and being passed around from house to house in his youth.

I loved you with all my heart, Scuzzy. I hope where ever you are right now you know how much I miss you.

If this is any help to you....

I did some research online, and found that guinea pigs who bounce between houses in their youth usually live shorter lives. You tried to do whatever you could do, and I'm sure Scuzzy loved you with all his heart.

Rest In Peace, Scuzzy. We will always love you.

That's sad... I guess all that stress really takes a toll on little bodies.

Thanks for your kind words. He will indeed always hold a special place in my heart no other animal will ever fill.
